Anbar Railway Stations Client: KBR – (AL- ANBAR Province)Location: Anbar-IraqCost: 500,000.00 USDDuration: 370 DaysIn 2005 CBuilding was contracted to supervise and renovate all (30) railway stations in the sprawling Anbar. The detailed design followed.Cbuilding submitted all contract documents and followed up with the construction with intensive supervision and documentation.In all-around 60 engineers were involved with the project; work was being done simultaneously all around the province. The operation took around a year to finish and by the end all stations were ready to receive the trains.
Water Supply Baghdad Water Reservoirs Study Client: ParsonsLocation: Baghdad-IraqCost: 370,000.00 USD Duration: 8 months In 2005 CBuilding was contracted to make replacements on Baghdad’s reservoirs, water treatment plants and pumping stations with attention to the flow meters.The contract was to replace the flow meters in the reservoirs that was responsible for measuring the flow rate and pressure of water in different pipes in the reservoirs.The company didin’t find a single flow meter in working condition, although several types and manufacturers were used.The reservoirs and pumping stations, however, were in working order and the valves were regularly maintained.
